In 2005, SsangYong far anticipated a trend that is currently in fashion among all car manufacturers. The Actyon ( whose last iteration arrived in the country in 2014) had other variants, such as the Kyron, which was its traditional SUV version and then the renowned Actyon Sports arrived, in pick-up format and which was well received in Colombia.

The good news is that now KG Mobility (KGM), a company that until a few years ago we knew as SsangYong, will bring back the name Actyon to give life to the “sports” version of Torres, a model that has reached the market. In fact, the model is exactly the same as said SUV, at least up to the C pillar. At the rear we see a sportier solution, less inclined than in the Actyons of the past and closer to the style of a Range Rover. (in case you haven’t noticed the similarity).

It is worth mentioning that it has a new front, fully illuminated from side to side, closer to that of the Torres EVX, and this is probably a preview of the facelift of that SUV in its conventional format. Another interesting detail is the black stripe that detaches from the front optical assembly and runs through the entire lower part of the model, to meet again in the same way with the taillights, a detail that once again, resembles another Range Rover: the Velar.

At the rear it is possible to observe a thin frame, where the DRL LED lights and the name “Actyon” are located, accompanied by the aforementioned taillights with the design of the Korean trigram “Gon”, which we knew at the time in the EVX Towers.

The engine should also be inherited, the 163 hp 1.5 turbo VGT with six-speed automatic transmission and AWD option
